NBBJ designed a striking new stadium for the Cincinnati Bengals of the NFL. The building has a cantilevered, steel-structured roof, clad with translucent fabric. Sight lines are superb, and there are no bad seats. The project received a 2002 Business Week/Architectural Record Design Award.

This is an amazing stadium -- the elevator that rises above the end zone to the highest level is like the elevator in Warren Beaty's football movie from the 70's. This is a soaring wonderful sports venue. Cincinnati in general is an amazing center of culturally-significant, unique architecture over the past 100 years and continues to this day to create and inspire world-renowned excellence in its building and development. MJust one more reason why the Queen City is one of America's greatest.

I wonder if I can get some local beer from the second commenter that left the link?
Oh, that is another story!
I grew up 30 miles from Riverfront Stadium (albiet in Indiana) and haven't been, however on my "Bengals" wall I have a picture of this stadium and will get there soon enough although I have now transplanted to SC.
Funny how I attached myself to Cincinnati and not Indy when it came to football.
Next time up I hope to run by Union Terminal since it also made the list, to show my wife who grew up in Alaska.

Paul Brown Stadium makes a bold but beautiful statement for stadiums in the 21st century. It's architecture is truely innovative and it's namesake (Paul Brown - founder of the Cincinnati Bengals) is a humbling dedication to one of the NFL's greatest men.

A beautiful stadium to be sure, but...where are the stadiums of the Truman Sports Complex in Kansas City? A real oversight.
