The arched brick facade, asymmetrical playing field, and natural turf of Camden Yards harken back to America’s perenniallly favorite ball parks from the early 20th century, such as Fenway and Ebbets Field. Integrated into the complex is the large, turn-of-the-century B&O Railroad warehouse, which contains offices for the Orioles staff.

I'm not really a sports fan, but as a Baltimorean I do love the structure. If my memory serves me correctly, the "office annex", was an old existing industrial/port building and is to this day (as far as I know)considered the "Longest Brick Structure East Of The Mississippi". Which beyond the design of the BALLPARK, is the most intregung aspect of the structure.

Been to Fenway; been to Wrigley. This place obviously lacks the history (and the fans) of those parks but it is in fact a better place to actually see a game -- you get that same "church of baseball" feel and the wonderful sense that it's integrated into the neighborhood, without the view-blocking posts and sparse refreshment stands/restrooms that hurt the Fenway/Wrigley experience.
