ARE + IDP: How will it affect you?

Now that NCARB has passed a resolution indicating their stance on taking the ARE's while enrolled in IDP, what does this mean for you? Granted a handful of states already allow interns to take the exams ahead of IDP and many other states boards' licensing regulations have not changed as of yet, how has this new standpoint at NCARB affected your plans for licensure?

Unfortunatley for many of us that have been in the system and have gone thru the somewhat teeth pulling experience of the IDP process it is undoubtly dis-heartening, however I think that this change makes the most sense. Allowing interns to take the ARE is a plus since most of their schooling is still fresh in their minds (ie: structural etc...)rather than waiting 4+ years.
