Three Schools Awarded NCARB Grants

California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, and North Carolina State University received a total of $10,000 in the 2010 NCARB Grant program. The NCARB Grant for the Integration of Practice and Education in the Academy is a monetary award through which NCARB supports new projects that further the integration of education and practice.

According to the recent press release, “Grants are awarded to programs that desire to turn good ideas that might involve risk into reality; have a long-term impact on students, faculty, the curriculum, and the profession; and give other schools high-quality ideas for initiating new programs.”

EP:2011 Exhibition on Display

Thank you to all of our participants! We received an overwhelming amount of materials, some that challenged our notions of exhibition and our gallery constraints. We made an effort to show a range of projects, from the conceptual to built works for this exhibition. We hope to accommodate more work in the future, and to continue exhibiting the work of Emerging Professionals at future Grassroots Conferences.

See the list of selected projects here.
