Ok, so it's a new year. Most architects tend to be optimists, seeing our cups as ½ full (and our designs ½ built?). What are your resolutions for this new year? I'll start... I resolve to stop going on as many "wild goose chases" with potential clients.
Happy New Year!

Rick: You likely could take fantastic photos of your project. I suggest you take a look at a previous SPP journal:

"Great Architectural Photos don't just happen." Lots of good hints/tips on how to photograph your own work.

UPDATE: 4 weeks in January; 3 proposals sent out to date; 1 has start date in Mid-February, 1 is pending and scope might increase slightly (30% verified hit rate.. not bad so far... need to double hit rate). At least time spent on proposal is less than 1.5 hrs/per proposal.

Hi,
Our office has a collective strategic planning session in January (tomorrow actually), which could be seen as the forum for an office-wide New Year's Resolution.
There are so many things we can always do better. Taking the time and money to professionally document the work we've already completed is one that comes to mind!

OK Lisa You're on. I resolve to write more and put more effort into clarifying my communications. I don't think that is just trying to be understood. Like the old hymn/prayer, I think it is trying harder to understand!
